• Mount Kinabalu
  The mountain and its surroundings feature a huge variety of flora, and is one of the world's most important biological sites.

• Tanjung Simpang Mengayau - The Tip of Borneo
  This dramatic headland is situated in the northern-most tip of BORNEO, the third largest island in the world, after Greenland and New Guinea.

• Sepilok Orang Utan Sandakan
  The Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre was established in 1964 to return orphaned "apes back to the wild.

• Poring Hot Spring Ranau
  The natural hot spring is perfect to soothe tired and aching muscles after the long climb up Mount Kinabalu.

• Tunku Abdul Rahman Park Kota Kinabalu
  It comprises 49 square kilometers of which two-thirds are sea, and the rest is coral reefs and five islands.

• Sipadan Island Semporna
  Sipadan is the only oceanic island in Malaysia, rising 2,000 feet or 600m from the seabed.

• Pulau Tiga
  The Pulau Tiga Park comprises three islands-Pulau Tiga, Pulau Kalampunian Besar and Pulau Kalamunian Damit situated in the Kimanis Bay, off the west coast of Sabah.

• Padas River
  One of the internationally best-recognised white water river in Malaysia is the Padas River in Sabah with its Grade 3 and 4 rapids offering some of the most interesting courses for rafters.

• Kinabatangan River
  It is the second longest river in Malaysia, with a length of 560 kilometers from its headwaters in the mountains of southwest Sabah, to its outlet at the Sulu Sea, east of Sandakan.

Itinerary

DAY 01 KOTA KINABALU / SEMPORNA / MABUL

Meet and greet by Borneo Divers staff at the hotel lobby for flight MH 2121 @ 0700/ 0745 hrs for Tawau or meet at Tawau Airport at 7:45 a.m. in the morning. Transfer to Semporna by van / coach for approximately 1 1/2 hours journey. Arrive in Semporna and proceed to Mabul Island by boat around 10:00 a.m. for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour journey, depending on the sea and weather conditions. Estimated arrival at Mabul Island at 11:00 a.m. and proceed for briefing, registration and check-in. Lunch will be serving at noontime.

There will be 2 boat dives on your first day arrival. One of the boat dives will be an orientation dive with our Divemaster. (Subject to 1st Scheduled Arrival)
2nd Scheduled Arrival - 2:20 p.m. from Tawau Airport to Semporna. From Semporna to Mabul Island will be at 4:00 p.m.

NOTE: For those who arrive on the 2nd Scheduled Arrival will not be able to do any diving on the arrival day. They will do 3 boat dives on the 2nd day, the first boat dive being an orientation dive.

DAY 02, 03, 04
3 boat dives a day at Sipadan, Mabul or Kapalai.
One Sunset Bonus Boat Dive without Divemaster at Mabul HOUSE REEF
* Sipadan Dives subject to Quota and Weather permitting.

DAY 05 MABUL / SEMPORNA / KOTA KINABALU
Free at leisure in the morning. Checkout.
We have two departures from Mabul to Semporna. First schedule at 06:30 a.m. and second schedule is at 11:30 a.m.

Note : Diving is not advisable on the last day. However, if you wish to do so, you will have to sign a separate Liability / Release Waiver form. All the guests are advised to take a rest of at least 24 hours, minimum 18 hours before fly. However, Borneo Divers recognizes that people, agencies and even computers and tables differ on this. If you want to maximise your diving on the last day, you can either overnight in Tawau or overland from Tawau to Kota Kinabalu / Sandakan. You will then be able to do 1 boat dive only around Mabul island.

For those who do a morning dive (one morning boat dive at MABUL ONLY) on departure day, please note that your Bar Bill must be settled the night before. All baggage and personal belongings must be cleared out of your room and and you must check out before the first morning boat dive as we need to clean the room to allow incoming guests to check in on time.

Cost of your trip includes:

• Scheduled ground transfers within Tawau airport / hotel - Semporna - Mabul island and return by van coach and boat.
• Twin - share challet with ensuite bathroom, air condition and private verandah overlooking at the Celebes Seas.
• 3 meals a day PLUS light snacks served all day and beverages while at the Dive Resort ( excluding alcoholic and / or carbonated soft drinks ).
• 3 boat dives a day between Mabul, Kapalai and Sipadan island with our professional Divemasters.
